IHSG Closed Up 41 Points, 3 Top-Performing LQ45 Shares in Focus

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) extended its gains through to the close of trading today. The IHSG strengthened 0.50 per cent or 41.40 points to 8,322.23 points at the close of trading on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.

Based on monitoring by VIVA via Stockbit, the IHSG moved up and down quite sharply. The index briefly fell to 8,268 after surging through to 8,372 as the highest level achieved in early trading.

Transaction value reached Rp 28.80 trillion with transaction volume hitting Rp 517.22 million. This figure is the accumulation of total trading conducted by market participants across 2.84 million transactions.

The healthcare sector posted the highest gains at 2.73 per cent. Significant increases were also recorded in the cyclical consumer sector at 2.71 per cent, industrial sector strengthening 2.21 per cent, raw materials sector surging 1.03 per cent, energy sector rising 1.06 per cent, infrastructure sector up 0.93 per cent and property sector up 0.61 per cent.

Whilst gains continued, several share sectors still experienced corrections. The transportation sector plummeted 1.69 per cent, the financial sector weakened 0.23 per cent and the technology sector fell 0.21 per cent.

“Positive factors include a rebound on Wall Street and the strengthening of the majority of indices at Asian stock exchanges,” stated the Phintraco Securities analyst team, citing daily research on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.

Technically, the Phintraco Securities analyst team noted that the IHSG remained above the MA5 and MA20. However, the Stochastic RSI indicator has entered overbought territory, with the MACD beginning to show narrowing on the positive slope.

In the same research, Phintraco Securities also reported three listed companies among the 45 leading shares (LQ45) that achieved the highest price jumps throughout today’s trading session:

Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP)

The INKP share surged 16.50 per cent or 1,700 points, closing at 12,000.

PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR)

The ADMR share increased by 6.44 per cent or 130 points to 2,150.

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (EXCL)

Positive results were also recorded for the EXCL share at 5.99 per cent or 190 points to 3,360.
