Iglesias concert postponed

JAKARTA (JP): The planned concert of Julio Iglesias, scheduled
to take place from April 14 to 16 at the Jakarta Hilton
Convention Center, has been postponed until November due to the
crooner's ill health.

Irwandani, PR Manager of Adhitama Enterprise, which is
organizing Iglesias' concert here, said that the company recently
received a postponement notice dated March 27.

Iglesias has already performed in Jakarta twice. Early this
year he also visited Indonesia to promote his upcoming tour.

"We are very sorry to disappoint Iglesias' fans in Indonesia.
But, it is really beyond our power," Irwandani said.

Poor health and mental exhaustion has forced Iglesias to
postpone his concerts in a number of countries, including
Indonesia. (raw)
