PT Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk (IGAR) applied to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on 15 October 2026 for approval to delist its shares and temporarily suspend trading. The move is in connection with the company’s plan to become a privately held company (go private).

In a disclosure published on 16 October 2026, the company said the IDX had decided to temporarily suspend trading in IGAR shares under letter No. Peng-SPT-00020/BEI.PP2/10-2026. The suspension took effect from the first trading session on Friday, 16 October 2026.

The company said the go-private and delisting plans form part of a restructuring and optimisation of its business strategy to support long-term development.

IGAR is a holding company whose subsidiaries operate in sectors including the manufacture of various industrial containers for pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics products, general trading, transport services, printing and related activities.

According to the company, becoming privately held is expected to provide greater flexibility in decision-making, investment management, and the implementation of its subsidiaries’ strategic plans and business development.

The company also said its shares are not actively traded on the IDX, resulting in limited liquidity, and that its listed-company status is considered less effective.

It added that it has no plans to seek funding by issuing equity securities in the capital market in the foreseeable future.

IGAR said it would comply with the requirements under IDX and OJK regulations in implementing the plan, including provisions on share delisting and relisting.
