Iftar Gathering and Orphans’ Charity: A Collaboration between INI and IPPAT in the Spirit of Ukhuwah Ramadan 1447 AH
To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) and the Association of Land Deed Officials (IPPAT) organised an Iftar gathering and a charity for orphans on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, at the Birawa Assembly Hall, Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta.
The event was a joint initiative of the two professional bodies overseeing Notaries and PPATs in Indonesia, serving as an expression of social concern and a moment to strengthen fellowship during the blessed month.
Dr. Hapendi Harahap, S.H., Sp.N., M.H., the Head of PP IPPAT, in his remarks said that the Iftar gathering aimed to reinforce ukhuwah Islamiyah and to strengthen synergy and friendship among colleagues affiliated with INI and IPPAT.
“Through the Ramadan momentum, we hope to build closer togetherness, strengthen collaboration, and foster a spirit of brotherhood in carrying out our professional duties,” he said.
In line with this, Dr. H. Irfan Ardiansyah, S.H., Sp.N., LL.M., the Head of INI, stressed that the Ramadan spirit should be positive energy for the two organisations to continue to cooperate and reinforce the ties of collaboration.
“INI and IPPAT, as two professional bodies supervising Notaries and PPATs, must continue to maintain unity, strengthen ties of friendship, and enhance cooperation with the spirit of ukhuwah Islamiyah,” he stated.
Beyond serving as a gathering for fellowship, the event also included the distribution of charitable donations to orphans as a form of social care and an embodiment of Islamic values in community life.
The organising committee was chaired by H. Zulfanovriyendi, S.H., M.Kn. from IPPAT, who, together with the committee, prepared the event with dedication to ensure it proceeded with solemnity and meaning.
This event is hoped to strengthen togetherness and to reinforce the moral and spiritual integrity of all INI and IPPAT members in carrying out their duties and service to society, the nation, and the country. (H-2)
