Jakarta, VIVA – PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life), a member of IFG, the state-owned holding company for insurance, guarantees, and investment, has consistently fulfilled its mandate in managing policies resulting from the restructuring of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) (Jiwasraya) over the past five years. In 2026, IFG Life will make payments of claims and insurance benefits to 94,793 former Jiwasraya customers, with a total value exceeding Rp7.5 trillion, as part of efforts to ensure customer rights are met in accordance with applicable provisions. As support for the continuity of managing restructured Jiwasraya policies, the Government has channelled State Capital Participation (PMN) of Rp26.56 trillion to IFG Life through IFG. The Finance Director cum Acting President Director of IFG Life, Ryan Diastana Firman, stated that the implementation of these claim payments represents the company’s responsibility in carrying out the entrusted mandate. “IFG Life is committed to managing the restructured Jiwasraya policies with full responsibility, ensuring that claim and insurance benefit payments are made on time, in the correct amount, and to the right recipients, so that customer rights are properly fulfilled. The Government’s support through PMN also serves as an important foundation for us to ensure the continuity of this policy management, while strengthening protection for customers going forward,” said Ryan in his statement, quoted on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. In providing services to customers, IFG Life ensures an easy and cost-free claims submission process. This is supported by an extensive service network in 20 cities across Indonesia, as well as two special service offices in Jakarta and Surabaya to ensure optimal service to customers.
