IFC to Be Built in Bali, Set to Become International Financial Centre - detikFinance
The Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), who is also the CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, inspected the readiness of one of the potential sites for the development of the Indonesia Financial Centre (IFC) in Bali.
Rosan stated that this inspection was conducted to ensure the preparedness of various supporting aspects, from land and infrastructure to the regulatory framework.
“We are inspecting the readiness of one of the potential sites for the development of the Indonesia Financial Centre (IFC) in Bali. We are ensuring that the land, infrastructure, and regulatory framework are aligned,” said Rosan, quoted from Instagram @roslanroeslani, on Sunday (3/5/2026).
Rosan explained that the IFC in Bali will be built as an integrated ecosystem that not only functions as a business hub but is also equipped with a knowledge-based district. This development is expected to drive innovation, talent development, and cross-sector collaboration.
He also stated that the IFC will attract global investment flows while strengthening Indonesia’s position on the world economic map.
“This will become an international financial centre capable of attracting global investment flows while strengthening Indonesia’s position on the world economic map,” he said.
