IEE Series 2026 Unites Energy, Engineering, and Industrial Supply Chains
The Indonesia Energy & Engineering (IEE) Series 2026 has entered its main phase in Jakarta after previously expanding its reach to Balikpapan and Surabaya as part of efforts to bring the engineering and energy ecosystem closer to various industrial activity centres in Indonesia. After bringing together industry players in the two regional economic hubs, the IEE Series 2026 now continues to Jakarta with a broader industrial scope through Energy Week on 2-5 September 2026 and Engineering Week on 9-12 September 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran.
Entering its main event in Jakarta, IEE Series 2026 will once again become one of the largest industry gatherings in Southeast Asia in the energy and engineering sectors, bringing together policymakers, business players, technology providers, and professionals from various sectors.
This year, the IEE Series targets the attendance of more than 75,000 trade attendees, involving more than 2,000 participating companies from 39 countries/regions, and utilising an exhibition area of more than 108,000 square metres at JIExpo Kemayoran, including the use of a new hall as part of the exhibition area configuration for the second week of Engineering Week.
“The scale of this year’s event shows how the IEE Series continues to grow as a meeting platform for various industry players. With more than 2,000 participating companies and a target of more than 75,000 trade attendees, we see a growing need for a space that can bring together industry players, technology providers, and various stakeholders to exchange knowledge in the industrial world, see the latest solution developments, and build business opportunities and collaboration,” said Hanung Hanindito, Deputy Event Director of Pamerindo Indonesia, in a statement on Thursday (20/8/2026).
The direction of national industrial development is also increasingly emphasising the importance of building an interconnected ecosystem, from strengthening supply chains and downstreaming, providing infrastructure and energy that support industrial activities, to increasing productivity through technology and innovation.
In this context, IEE Series 2026 carries the theme “Sustainability for Industrial Transformation” and presents 10 exhibition platforms over two weeks in Jakarta, covering the energy, electricity and battery, digital infrastructure, construction, mining, oil and gas, water management, metal casting and metallurgy, and disaster management and civil protection sectors.
“In line with our theme, sustainability is also an important aspect in the development of various sectors, one of which is the mining sector today. The application of technology is not only needed to increase productivity and efficiency, but also to support safety aspects, environmental management, and operational sustainability. One of them is through Mining Indonesia, we want to bring together industry players with various technologies and solutions that can support the development of an increasingly responsible industry,” explained Hanung Hanindito.
