IDX Tightly Monitors Two Stocks After Unusual Market Activity
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closely monitoring the trading patterns of PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk. (MCAS) and PT Futura Energi Global Tbk. (FUTR) starting Tuesday, 11 August 2026, due to an unreasonable increase in their share prices. According to an IDX disclosure, the shares exhibited Unusual Market Activity (UMA), and the measure was taken to protect investors, particularly shareholders of the two companies. The IDX management stated that the UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of capital market regulations. The exchange is currently observing the development of the transaction patterns for these shares. In early trading today, MCAS shares rose 16.89% to Rp346 per share, marking a 120.38% increase over the past month. Meanwhile, FUTR shares, a renewable energy company, rose 5.14% to Rp368 in the first hour of trading, recording a 65.77% monthly gain but a 43.82% decline year-to-date. The IDX advised investors to pay attention to the listed companies’ responses to the exchange’s confirmation requests, review their performance and information disclosures, reassess corporate action plans that have not yet received General Meeting of Shareholders approval, and consider various possibilities before making investment decisions.
