IDX Tightly Monitors MSJA Shares for Unusual Market Activity
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closely monitoring the trading pattern of PT Multi Spunindo Jaya Tbk. (MSJA) due to unusual market activity (UMA) starting Tuesday (24/6/2026). The surveillance was triggered by an abnormal increase in the company’s share price.
Citing the IDX’s official announcement, the exchange stated that the announcement of UMA does not necessarily indicate a violation of capital market regulations. “The announcement of Unusual Market Activity (UMA) does not immediately imply a breach of laws in the capital market sector,” the IDX management wrote.
Based on the latest market data, the shares of the company, which produces diapers and masks, fell 3.27% to Rp414 per share on Monday (23/6/2026). Despite the daily decline, the stock has recorded a year-to-date increase of 21.76%.
The IDX is currently scrutinising the transaction patterns of MSJA shares. The exchange advised investors to pay close attention to the listed company’s response to the exchange’s confirmation request, to monitor its performance and information disclosures, and to review any corporate action plans that have not yet received approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) before making investment decisions.
