IDX Tightly Monitors LUCY and NEST Over Unusual Share Price Movements

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is tightly monitoring the trading of PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY) and PT Esta Indonesia Tbk (NEST) due to unusual share price movements. PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY) has experienced a significant decline in its share price. Conversely, PT Esta Indonesia Tbk (NEST) has seen an extraordinary increase in its share price, classified as Unusual Market Activity (UMA). This measure is taken as a form of protection for investors, particularly shareholders of the two listed companies. However, the IDX management confirmed that the UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of capital market laws and regulations. “We need to convey that the Exchange is currently observing the development of this share transaction pattern,” wrote the IDX management, citing the information disclosure on Thursday (9/7/2026). Consequently, investors are expected to pay attention to the listed companies’ responses to the Exchange’s confirmation request, scrutinise the companies’ performance and information disclosures, and review the companies’ corporate action plans if these plans have not yet received approval from the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Investors should also consider various possibilities that may arise in the future before making investment decisions.
