IDX Suspends Trading of Panca Global (PEGE) Shares, Here's Why
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has temporarily suspended trading of shares of PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE) as of Tuesday (8/7/2026). The suspension for the financial issuer began in the first trading session today, Wednesday (8/7/2026), referencing Exchange Announcement No.: Peng-SPT-00016/BEI.PP3/07-2026. This suspension is implemented as a cooling-down measure to protect investors. It aims to provide market participants with adequate time to carefully consider their investment decisions. Furthermore, the IDX is considering the company’s information disclosure, which previously stated it would undertake a rights issue corporate action. “The IDX deems it necessary to temporarily halt trading of PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE) shares on the Regular Market and Cash Market,” as stated in the announcement on the IDX’s official website. The suspended issuer was observed to have experienced a price decline prior to the suspension. Citing market data, PEGE’s share price in Monday’s trading was recorded down 6.82% at a price of Rp123 per share. PEGE’s share price has risen 10.3% over the past month and fallen 51.25% year to date.
