IDX Suspends FORU Shares Amid Unreasonable Price Surge
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has temporarily suspended trading of PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU) shares due to a significant cumulative price increase.
The suspension was implemented on 15 June 2026, starting from the first trading session in the regular and cash markets, until a further exchange announcement is made.
Citing an IDX disclosure, the suspension was carried out as a form of protection for investors, particularly FORU shareholders.
βIn connection with the significant cumulative price increase in PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU) shares and as a form of protection for investors, the Indonesia Stock Exchange deems it necessary to temporarily halt trading of PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU) shares,β wrote the IDX management on Monday (15/6/2026).
The exchange urges interested parties to always pay attention to IDX disclosures.
For context, FORU shares surged 132% over the last five days and soared 204% over the past month to a level of Rp 3,770 per share. FORU currently has a market capitalisation of Rp 1.75 trillion.
