IDX Sets Aside Rp596.4 Billion Budget for 2027
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has set aside Rp596.4 billion to implement 51 work plans in 2027, aimed at strengthening the exchange’s business, infrastructure and transformation. IDX President Director Jeffrey Hendrik outlined the plans at a press conference on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, according to Investasi.
Hendrik said the budget is divided into two main groups: the business pillar, allocated Rp186.8 billion, and the supporting or enabler group, allocated Rp409.7 billion. These represent 31.3% and 68.7% of the total budget respectively.
He said the work-plan budget covers dozens of programmes designed to support business development and strengthen the exchange’s operational capabilities.
“We have drawn up 51 work plans for 2027, with a total budget of Rp596.4 billion allocated to two main groups,” said Jeffrey Hendrik, President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Under the business pillar, the IDX is prioritising stronger transaction and non-transaction businesses, improving the quantity and quality of listed companies, and broadening investor participation. These priorities fall within the group receiving Rp186.8 billion.
The enabler group has been allocated Rp409.7 billion to strengthen infrastructure and the capabilities supporting the exchange’s operations. Of this amount, Rp380.7 billion is specifically earmarked for strengthening and optimising information technology assets.
Hendrik said investment in information technology is an important part of the IDX’s infrastructure development plans, supporting its operations and the expansion of service capacity.
“Most of this allocation—Rp380.7 billion—is directed towards strengthening and optimising information technology assets to support system reliability, service capacity and readiness for future market development,” said Jeffrey Hendrik, President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
The IT upgrades are intended to maintain the reliability of trading systems, improve service capabilities and prepare infrastructure for future market development. The programme forms part of the IDX’s transformation agenda through the implementation of its work plans throughout 2027.
