IDX Reshuffles LQ45, IDX30, IDX80 Constituents
Jakarta — The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has overhauled the constituent composition of several major stock indices, namely LQ45, IDX30 and IDX80, in a major evaluation effective from 3 August to 30 October 2026.
On the LQ45 index, the IDX admitted two new stocks: PT Indika Energy Tbk. (INDY) and PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk. (NCKL).
The pair replace PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (SMGR) and PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk. (TOWR), which have been removed from the index of the 45 most liquid stocks.
Meanwhile, the change to IDX30 involves only a single constituent swap. PT Darma Henwa Tbk. (DEWA) officially enters the index, replacing PT Bukit Asam Tbk. (PTBA).
As for IDX80, the IDX added three new issuers: PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. (BFIN), PT Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk. (LSIP) and PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk. (NCKL).
The three replace PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (INTP), PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk. (PANI) and PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. (SIDO), which exit the index.
Beyond the constituent changes, the IDX has also adjusted the number of shares used in the index calculations and the weighting of each issuer in line with the results of the periodic evaluation.
Major evaluations of the indices are carried out routinely to ensure the constituents continue to represent stocks with high liquidity, large market capitalisation and compliance with the applicable free float requirements.
The new composition will serve as a reference for market participants, including investment managers running index mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs).
In performance terms, all three indices remain in decline since the start of the year.
As of the close of trading on Monday (27 July 2026), the Composite Index (IHSG) stood at 6,185.783, down 28.46 per cent year to date (YtD).
Meanwhile, the LQ45 has corrected 27.64 per cent to 612.558, IDX30 has weakened 21.12 per cent to 344.884, and IDX80 is the worst performer, down 30.53 per cent YtD to 92.085.
