IDX Reclassifies FILM Shares as Having High Shareholding Concentration
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), together with the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), has again identified a high shareholding concentration (HSC) in PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM).
According to an IDX disclosure, on 14 July 2026, the HSC assessment methodology showed that a certain number of shareholders collectively controlled 92.98% of FILM’s total shares.
On 12 October 2026, the exchange announced that the company no longer met the definition of having concentrated share ownership because it had satisfied the quantitative criteria.
However, following further review, the exchange found that the decline in ownership underpinning the 12 October announcement had occurred through share-repurchase transactions, which may not have resulted in any change in ownership concentration.
“For this reason, the exchange is again announcing FILM as a share classified as having high shareholding concentration,” IDX management said on Friday (23 October 2026).
The IDX stressed that the announcement does not, in itself, indicate a breach of applicable laws, regulations or capital-market rules.
