The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has stated that it has received several requests for audiences from issuers included in the High Shareholder Concentration (HSC) list.

“We have received several letters requesting discussions, and we are serving them all well. There are various dates and several companies involved, all of which we are handling appropriately,” said the Acting President Director of IDX, Jeffrey Hendrik, to reporters at the IDX Building in Jakarta on Monday (18/05/2026).

When asked whether the issuing companies involved belong to conglomerates, Jeffrey declined to comment. However, he emphasised that one or two issuers have already approached the exchange, while others are scheduled for upcoming meetings. Jeffrey also stated that the IDX is open to issuers on the HSC list reporting any efforts made to adjust their shareholder composition. “If they have already undertaken such efforts, please report them to us,” he added.

Furthermore, Jeffrey noted that several issuers have reported efforts to increase their public free float shares in accordance with the regulations, which set a maximum concentration limit. The IDX has also held discussions with the Indonesian Issuers Association regarding the implementation of these rules. “Up to this point, we have observed positive efforts by several issuers to increase their free float, and the progress is good,” he added.

For reference, stocks included in the HSC list include BREN and DSSA, with concentrations of 97.31% and 95.76%, respectively. BREN is an entity owned by conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu, while DSSA is part of the Sinar Mas Group.

In addition to these, other issuers on the HSC list based on IDX and KSEI data as of 2 April 2026 include PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO) at 95.35%, PT Rockfields Properti Indonesia Tbk (ROCK) at 99.85%, and PT Panca Anugrah Wisesa Tbk (MGLV) at 95.94%.
