IDX Opens Possibility of Revising IPO Target This Year
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) is open to the possibility of revising its initial public offering (IPO) target for this year. As of 9 July 2026, only six companies have listed their shares on the exchange, while the IDX itself is targeting 50 new listings for the year.
IDX Director of Corporate Assessment Saidu Solihin stated that a revision of the target is still under discussion. “Whether the target is achieved or not, we will see at the end of the year. We are currently discussing whether to revise it or not, and no decision has been made yet,” he told the media at the IDX Building on Thursday, 9 July 2026.
Despite this, Saidu remains optimistic about the IPO target amidst highly volatile market conditions. He noted that if the exchange can quickly restore investor confidence and geopolitical tensions ease, market conditions will improve.
Saidu also stated that the IDX is currently prioritising the quality of companies conducting IPOs over quantity. This is in line with efforts to reform capital market integrity.
Currently, there are six companies in the IPO listing pipeline. Saidu mentioned that the composition of companies in the pipeline is dominated by those with large-scale assets. In terms of sector, Healthcare is the most prominent, followed by Consumer Cyclicals, Consumer Non-Cyclicals, and Basic Materials.
As of 9 July 2026, the six companies that have listed on the exchange are PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk. (WBSA), PT Niramas Utama Tbk. (JELI), PT Esa Medika Mandiri Tbk. (EMMI), PT Bach Multi Global Tbk. (BACH), PT Nitrasanata Dharma Tbk. (JECX), and PT Prodia Diagnostic Line Tbk. (PRDL). Furthermore, PT Rans Entertainment Tbk. is scheduled to conduct its initial listing on the exchange on 10 July 2026.
