IDX: Minimum Share Price of Rp1 to Take Effect from 28 September 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) has announced that the provision regarding the minimum share price, which will change from Rp50 to Rp1 per share, will come into effect on Monday, 2<0xC2>8 September 2026.
This change will be accompanied by adjustments to the Auto Rejection limits for Equity Securities and Infrastructure Investment Funds (DINFRA) traded on the Regular Market and Cash Market.
“Shares that were previously at Rp50 can be traded within a wider price range to improve the quality of price discovery, encourage increased liquidity, and provide market participants with greater flexibility in managing their investment portfolios,” said the IDX Corporate Secretary, Elsierra Putri Yosita, in an official statement in Jakarta on Monday.
Until 31 December 2026, the Auto Rejection Upper (ARA) and Auto Rejection Lower (ARB) provisions will maintain an asymmetric ARB of 15 per cent for shares priced above Rp10. Following the adjustment of the minimum price to Rp1, for shares within the price range of Rp1 to Rp10, the ARA and ARB limits are set at Rp1.
Meanwhile, for shares priced between Rp10 and Rp200, the ARA is set at 35 per cent and the ARB at 15 per cent. For the price range above Rp200 to Rp5,000, the ARA is set at 25 per cent and the ARB at 15 per cent. For shares priced above Rp5,000, the ARA is set at 20 per cent and the ARB at 15 per cent.
Furthermore, starting from 1 January 2027, the IDX will implement symmetric ARB based on price ranges. For shares between Rp1 and Rp10, both ARA and ARB will be set at Rp1. Shares between Rp11 and Rp200 will have an ARA and ARB of 35 per cent each. Shares above Rp200 to Rp5,000 will have an ARA and ARB of 25 per cent, while shares above Rp5,000 will have an ARA and ARB of 20 per cent.
Additionally, the IDX is making similar adjustments to DINFRA Participation Units. Previously, DINFRA priced above Rp50 had ARA and ARB limits of 10 per cent each. Following the change, DINFRA within the Rp1 to Rp10 range will have ARA and ARB limits of Rp1. For DINFRA priced above Rp10, the ARA and ARB are set at 10 per cent.
