IDX Lists 9 Stocks with Highest Ownership Concentration, DCII Tops at 99.96%
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has updated its list of stocks with High Shareholding Concentration (HSC), following a refinement of its identification methodology. The latest announcement, made on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, revealed that the number of listed companies falling into this category has increased after the bourse added a price impact ratio as a new criterion for stocks with a market capitalisation above Rp10 trillion.
IDX President Director Jeffrey Hendrik explained that the price impact ratio is calculated based on changes in a stock’s price compared to its transaction velocity. Velocity itself is the ratio of the average transaction volume to the number of shares available to the public, or free float.
Based on the new assessment, several issuers owned by national conglomerates recorded extremely high levels of concentrated ownership. PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII), owned by tycoon Otto Toto Sugiri, topped the list with a concentrated ownership level of 99.96 percent. It was closely followed by PT Pradiksi Gunatama Tbk (PGUN) at 99.95 percent and PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (SMAR) at 99.58 percent.
Other companies with significant ownership concentration include PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) at 98.50 percent, PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) at 98.06 percent, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) at 97.31 percent. PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), part of the Sinar Mas Group, recorded a concentration of 95.76 percent, while PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk (BELI) stood at 93.83 percent.
