The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) for the 2026 financial year on Wednesday (12/8/2026). Two agendas were approved during the meeting.

For the first agenda, the IDX EGM approved the appointment of Alex Widi Kristiono as a member of the IDX Board of Commissioners to fill a vacant position following the resignation of M. Oki Ramadhana from the post of President Director. Both individuals are known to be from Mandiri Sekuritas.

“The appointment has received approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) after undergoing a fit and proper test. Alex Widi Kristiono will serve the remainder of the IDX Board of Commissioners’ term for the 2024-2028 period,” said IDX President Director Jeffrey Hendrik on Wednesday (12/8/2026).

With this appointment, the composition of the IDX Board of Commissioners consists of Nurhaida as President Commissioner, along with Yozua Makes, Karman Pamurahardjo, Lany Djuwita, and Alex Widi Kristiono as Commissioners.

For the second agenda, the IDX EGM confirmed changes to the company’s shareholder composition in connection with the implementation of a share buyback by the IDX, as well as name changes for several shareholders.

The name changes include PT Universal Broker Indonesia Sekuritas becoming PT Laba Sekuritas Indonesia, PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas becoming PT Kay Hian Sekuritas, PT Oso Sekuritas Indonesia becoming PT Sukadana Prima Sekuritas, and PT Jasa Utama Capital becoming PT Yakin Bertumbuh Sekuritas.

Additionally, there was a transfer of one share each from PT IMG Sekuritas and PT HSBC Sekuritas Indonesia to the IDX as part of the share buyback execution.

On this occasion, the IDX also provided an update on the preparations for the company’s demutualisation as part of efforts to strengthen the exchange’s governance and independence, in line with Law Number 4 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Law Number 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (UU P2SK). The preparatory process is being carried out through coordination with the OJK and communication with shareholders to ensure all stages proceed in accordance with applicable regulations.
