IDX Continues to Correct as Foreign Investors Record Massive Net Sell in 10 Stocks
A sharp correction has once again hit the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG), though the decline was partially mitigated by the close. In Thursday’s trading (4/6/2026), the IHSG fell 1.7% to the level of 5,839.78. Transaction value reached Rp25.53 trillion, involving 39.68 billion shares across 2.29 million transactions. A total of 623 stocks declined, 106 rose, and 85 remained stagnant.
Alongside yesterday’s correction, foreign investors recorded a massive net sell of Rp1.27 trillion across the entire market and Rp1.43 trillion in the regular market. Additionally, foreign investors recorded net purchases of Rp163.11 billion in the negotiated and cash markets.
