IDX Confirms RANS Entertainment IPO Complies with Regulations
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has confirmed that the initial public offering (IPO) plan of PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk has fulfilled the applicable regulations. The explanation was provided following public scrutiny regarding the portion of shares released to the public, which is around 20 percent of the capital after the IPO.
IDX Director of Corporate Assessment I Gede Nyoman Yetna stated that the evaluation process for the RANS IPO refers to the regulations in effect when the share listing application documents were received by the Exchange. “The company’s share listing application documents were received by the Exchange before the enactment of Exchange Regulation Number I-A of 2026 on 31 March 2026. Therefore, the evaluation process was conducted with reference to the regulations in effect at the time the application was received,” Nyoman said in a written statement on Wednesday (24/6/2026).
Nyoman explained that in addition to the shares offered to the public through the IPO amounting to 20.02 percent, RANS also has existing shareholders who meet the criteria for shares outstanding in the public, or free float. “Thus, based on the share ownership structure after the IPO, the company’s free float portion is estimated to reach approximately 28.85 percent. Therefore, the company’s share ownership structure after the IPO has met the applicable free float requirements,” Nyoman clarified.
Previously, the RANS IPO became a topic of discussion on social media after questions arose regarding the conformity of the public share offering portion with Exchange regulations. Based on the preliminary prospectus, the company is offering a maximum of 2.53 billion new shares, equivalent to 20.02 percent of the issued and fully paid capital after the IPO.
With an offering price range of Rp 135 to Rp 170 per share, RANS has the potential to raise fresh funds of approximately Rp 340.85 billion to Rp 429.25 billion. If the lowest offering price is used, the company’s market capitalisation after the IPO is estimated to reach around Rp 1.70 trillion. Meanwhile, at the highest price, RANS’s market capitalisation value could potentially reach around Rp 2.14 trillion. The initial offering period, or book building, took place from 23 to 25 June 2026. PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk is acting as the underwriter for the corporate action. RANS Entertainment operates in the non-primary consumer goods sector with a focus on media and entertainment, intellectual property (IP) management, event organising, and investment in several supporting business entities.
