Jakarta (ANTARA) – Irvan Susandy, Director of Trading and Member Regulation at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX), has confirmed that there will be no changes to the criteria used in the periodic evaluation of the LQ45, IDX30 and IDX80 indices.

The IDX has just completed an evaluation of its key indices, effective from 3 August to 30 October 2026, which continues to use liquidity parameters over the past six months.

“The (index evaluation) criteria remain the same, based on liquidity over six months. It’s the same, there are no changes to the criteria,” said Irvan when met at the IDX building in Jakarta on Tuesday.

On this occasion, Irvan also explained the reasons why shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) remain in the IDX80, LQ45 and IDX30 despite being recorded as illiquid and experiencing price corrections throughout 2026.

He explained that the determination of index constituents is not based solely on liquidity conditions over the past one or two months, but rather uses average liquidity over a specific period prior to the evaluation.

“Liquidity is not calculated over just one or two months. It is the average over the last six or twelve months before the evaluation. Its liquidity has only declined in the last few months, the last two to three months,” said Irvan.

For information, the IDX recently carried out an evaluation of its key indices, including the IDX80, where three new issuers entered: PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN), PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (LSIP) and PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL).

These three issuers replaced PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) and PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO).

In the LQ45 index, PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) and PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) entered, replacing PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) and PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR).

Meanwhile, in the IDX30 index, PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) entered, replacing PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).
