Iduladha: Heavy Traffic on Jabodetabek and West Java Toll Roads
Jasamarga Metropolitan Toll Road Regional Division recorded increased traffic volumes across several toll road sections in Jabodetabek and West Java during the extended Iduladha holiday period.
Senior General Manager Widiyatmiko Nursejati of Jasamarga Metropolitan Toll Road Regional Division stated that the rise in traffic coincided with high public mobility as people used the long holiday to travel to tourist areas or local mudik destinations.
Widiyatmiko said Jasamarga has prepared various Service Areas to ensure comfortable travel during the holiday. “Road users heading to Bandung and surrounding areas can utilise Service Areas at KM 72, 88, and 147 on the Cipularang and Padaleunyi Toll Roads. Meanwhile, those travelling to the Puncak area via the Jagorawi Toll Road can use Service Areas at KM 10, 35, and 45,” he said in a written statement on Wednesday (27 May).
Jasa Marga urged road users to prepare for their journeys by ensuring vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition, checking fuel levels and electronic card balances before entering toll roads.
