JAKARTA — In commemoration of the 1447 Hijriah Idul Adha, PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), a member of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), has once again distributed sacrificial animals as part of the company’s social responsibility towards the community.

This year’s Idul Adha saw Askrindo distribute 23 cows and 36 goats to communities near company locations across 30 cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Batam, Bekasi, Bengkulu, Denpasar, Gorontalo, Jambi, Jayapura, Kisaran, Kupang, Madiun, Makassar, Malang, Mataram, Medan, Padang, Padang Sidempuan, Palembang, Palu, Pangkal Pinang, Semarang, Sukabumi, Surabaya, Tasikmalaya, and Tegal.

Askrindo’s President Director, M Fankar Umran, stated that the Idul Adha occasion serves as a reminder of the importance of sacrifice, sincerity, and social solidarity in community life.

“The distribution of sacrificial animals reflects Askrindo’s commitment to corporate social responsibility while strengthening care and togetherness with communities across various regions,” Fankar said in a written statement on Friday, 29 May 2026.

Meanwhile, Askrindo’s Director of Compliance, HR, and Risk Management, R Mahelan Prabantarikso, added that the company’s sacrificial activity aligns with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, particularly the social pillar, and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

“Idul Adha teaches sincerity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing. Through this initiative, Askrindo aims to provide tangible benefits to the community and foster harmonious relations between the company and its surroundings,” he explained.

“With the spirit of Idul Adha, Askrindo remains committed not only to business performance but also to actively contributing to social development and community empowerment,” Mahelan concluded.
