DPP Secretary-General Herman Khaeron stated that 63 cows were sacrificed, with six symbolically slaughtered at the DPP office.
“We sacrificed 63 cows, with six symbolically slaughtered at the DPP office,” Herman said at the party’s Jakarta headquarters on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.
Herman detailed that the six symbolic sacrifices included one cow owned by Supreme Council Chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), one donated by party chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), two from Deputy Chairman Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas), and one each from Secretary-General Herman Khaeron and Treasurer Irwan Fecho.
“We also donated to the MUI as part of our ongoing cooperation with the Indonesian Ulema Council,” he added.
Party chairman AHY attended the donation and sacrifice ceremony at the DPP office in Jakarta, arriving around 9.30am WIB.
“We want the Democratic Party to have greater significance by providing sacrificial animals to distribute to those in need,” he said.
