Identities of Suspects Besides Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro Revealed by KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has revealed the identities of the suspects in an alleged extortion case besides Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro (AWI). Anom was caught in a KPK sting operation on Tuesday (28/7/2026).

“GHA, a private sector party or the Regent’s confidant, LBS, a private sector party and parent of DIS, and finally DIS, a KPK employee or KPK Administrative Staff,” said Acting Director of KPK Investigations Achmad Taufik Husein at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Thursday (30/7/2026).

Based on information gathered, they are Mohamad Haris alias Gus Haris (GHA), Lilik Budi Suprianto (LBS), and Setya Budi Dias (DIS). “Furthermore, the KPK has detained the suspects for the first 20 days, from 29 July to 17 August 2026,” Taufik said.

Meanwhile, he explained that Anom Widiyantoro and Gus Haris are charged with violating Article 12 letter e and/or Article 12B of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 20 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP).

Lilik and Dias are charged with violating Article 12 letter e of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 20 of the Criminal Code. The KPK conducted its 18th sting operation of 2026 on 28 July.
