Identities of 9 Victims in Inter-Village Clash in Adonara, East Flores

A clash between the villages of Narasaosina and Waiburak in Ile Boleng sub-district, East Flores, on Saturday morning (18/7/2026) left three people dead and six other residents injured.

Of the six injured victims, three were referred to Dr Hendrikus Fernandez Regional General Hospital in Larantuka and Lewoleba Hospital in Lembata Regency by sea. The other three victims received outpatient treatment.

The Director of Adonara Hospital, Danny Gunawan, said five residents of Narasaosina village received medical treatment at Adonara Hospital on Saturday morning.

“Sipriano M Ama, Jeremias and Thomas Tubun were all treated for their injuries and immediately went home. Meanwhile, Anwar Sabon was referred to Larantuka Regional General Hospital and Petrus Kopong Emit died,” Danny said when contacted by detikBali on Saturday (18/7/2026).

In addition to Petrus Kopong Emit, another resident of Narasaosina village, Hugo (62), also died in the clash.

The Head of the Ile Boleng Community Health Centre, Stefanus Ola Bura, said three residents of Waiburak village received treatment at the Ile Boleng Community Health Centre.

They were Nayamudin Iskandar (21), who died from a sharp weapon wound to the heart; Purnama Bl (19), who suffered a sharp weapon wound to the upper chest; and Siti Saleha (63), who suffered sharp weapon wounds to the back of both thighs.

“One was referred to Lewoleba Hospital and one was referred to Larantuka Regional General Hospital,” said Stefanus.
