IDE Preneur Holds Golf Charity 2026 to Aid Primary Schools in South Bengkulu

Indonesian Democracy and Education (IDE) Preneur, in collaboration with the Green Democracy Institute (GDI), held the Golf Charity 2026 event in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten, on Friday (17/7). The charity event was organised to assist in the improvement of primary school (SD) facilities in the South Bengkulu region. The youth organisation, mentored by the Speaker of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) RI, Sultan Baktiar Najamudin, previously held a successful Golf Charity event in 2025. The proceeds from last year’s charity event were distributed to repair and complete the facilities of a primary school in So’e, East Nusa Tenggara. “This charity programme is part of our efforts to support the government in preparing human resources and the school ecosystem in the regions. The intention and motivation are simple: just to foster friendship and gather the generosity of golfers to be distributed to areas in need,” said Sultan in a written statement on Saturday (18/7/2026). Sultan stated that education is the foundation of national development, so the national development agenda must begin by preparing adequate cognitive capacity and educational facilities. “We invite all elements of the nation, especially young entrepreneurs, to support the government’s priority programmes aimed at improving the quality of human resources, such as the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, Sekolah Rakyat, and others,” Sultan asserted. “On behalf of the DPD RI institution, we appreciate and welcome this admirable IDE Preneur charity programme. God willing, in the future the scale of this activity will be even larger, so it can help more schools in the regions,” he hoped. Chairman of the IDE Preneur Golf Charity 2026 Committee, Putra, revealed that the proceeds from this charity programme would be distributed to repair the building of a primary school in the South Bengkulu region. “We have conducted assessments and verifications of several candidate schools to receive aid from this Golf Charity. The choice has been given to SD Negeri 35 Bengkulu Selatan,” said Putra. The Golf Charity event was attended by hundreds of entrepreneurs and golfers from both domestic and international backgrounds. Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA) Muhammad Syarifuddin, along with several other former supreme court justices, also participated. Several ambassadors from friendly nations were also present, including the Ambassador of Thailand, the Ambassador of Laos, and the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Seychelles for ASEAN, as well as entrepreneurs from Korea and China.
