KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): The Islamic Development Bank has in
principle approved a US$200 million loan to Malaysia, a report
said on Wednesday.
Utusan Malaysia quoted the bank's regional director Mohammad
Siddik as saying that the loan would be disbursed in the next few
months once details of projects requiring the funding were
submitted.
The bank has so far approved $25 million for the construction
of six hospitals, the newspaper said.
