IDB, Jasa Asuransi tie up

MANAMA (Reuter): The Islamic Corp for the Insurance of
Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), a wholly-owned affiliate of
the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), has signed a cooperation
agreement with P.T. Jasa Asuransi of Indonesia.

Under the agreement, ICIEC will provide reinsurance to support
the Indonesian firm's export credit insurance in return for
information on Indonesian buyers and policyholders.

An ICIEC statement said Jasa Asuransi was one of major
insurance firms in Indonesia which provides export credit
insurance and general insurance services.
