IDAI Launches Free Measles Vaccination Programme for Children in Jakarta

The Indonesian Paediatric Association (IDAI) has partnered with Rumah Vaksinasi Pusat to conduct a free mass measles vaccination programme for children aged 9 to 59 months in Jakarta as a demonstration of commitment to child health in Indonesia. In recent weeks, measles cases in children have shown a concerning increase that requires collective attention, particularly as the long Hari Raya Idulfitri holiday approaches, which is typically accompanied by heightened population mobility. In response to this situation, the IDAI Central Board has urged parents to promptly complete measles (MR) immunisation for their healthy children as an optimal protective measure against the disease.
