The Toyota Fortuner user community, the Toyota Fortuner Club of Indonesia (ID42NER), successfully held its fifth National Jamboree and 19th anniversary celebration in the PIK 2 area, Tangerang, Banten, last weekend. The event, themed “Stronger Together,” was attended by around 300 participants with 100 Toyota Fortuners from various chapters across Indonesia.

The annual event served as a moment for ID42NER to strengthen ties, solidarity, and togetherness among members spread across different regions. Various activities were held throughout the event, ranging from a padel competition, a rolling city tour combined with a tree planting action in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area, an automotive exhibition area, music entertainment, to a joint service programme at an official Toyota Auto2000 dealer network.

One of the highlights that captured participants’ attention was a coaching clinic session with national touring driver from Toyota GAZOO Racing Indonesia (TGRI), Amato Rudolph. During the session, participants gained various insights into the world of motorsport, driving safety, vehicle characteristics, and racing experiences on the track.

ID42NER President Djoko Wiyono stated that the fifth National Jamboree was not merely a gathering for Toyota Fortuner owners from various generations. The event is also a platform to strengthen the brotherhood that has been built over nearly two decades.

“The 5th National Jamboree & 19th Anniversary is not just about the gathering of different generations of the Toyota Fortuner model, but also about brotherhood, togetherness, and the passion continuously built together by all members,” said Djoko.

He added that the presence of Amato Rudolph in the coaching clinic session was an effort to bring community members closer to the activities and motorsport DNA of Toyota through Toyota GAZOO Racing.

According to Djoko, the activity is relevant to the character of many ID42NER members who have an interest in high-adrenaline automotive activities such as off-roading and touring races. “Many ID42NER members have an interest in various adrenaline-pumping activities like off-roading and touring races, so this activity is highly relevant to the GAZOO Racing spirit of continuously pushing the limits for better,” he said.

Currently, ID42NER has 27 chapters with more than 3,000 active members spread across various regions in Indonesia. Besides being active in automotive activities, the community also regularly organises social, educational, and environmental conservation programmes as a form of contribution to society.

Through this fifth National Jamboree and 19th anniversary celebration, ID42NER reaffirmed its commitment as an automotive community that is not solely oriented towards the driving hobby, but also builds solidarity, social awareness, and a spirit to continue growing together.
