ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa and Chubb Life Indonesia Share Gratitude with Children and SMEs
ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa has once again collaborated with Chubb Life Indonesia to organise various social activities during Ramadan. One of these was an iftar gathering and sharing joy with orphaned children and children with disabilities from Yayasan Mekarsari, a school in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, dedicated to providing education for children with special needs.
The event took place at the Chubb Life Indonesia head office in Chubb Square, Jakarta, on Thursday (5/3). It was enlivened by performances of saman dance and singing by the children.
“As part of the collaboration series between ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa and Chubb Life Indonesia, today’s iftar brings together the children under Dompet Dhuafa’s guidance, namely those from Yayasan Mekarsari, to perform saman dance by the deaf children and songs by the blind child,” said Maya Nur Aini, Partnership Manager of ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa.
Maya stated that the moment also provided a space for children with disabilities to channel their talents and participate in the joy of sharing during Ramadan.
“Usually during Ramadan, we share with orphaned children, but in this moment, we also invite special children like those from Yayasan Mekarsari, giving them opportunities so they can receive the best rewards during Ramadan and Eid later,” she added.
Meanwhile, Naresh Krishnan, President Director of Chubb Life Indonesia, said, “The Ramadan moment is the right time for us to be grateful and thank our loved ones. Ramadan always brings a different atmosphere. Amid daily busyness, this holy month becomes a time for reflection and remembering the meaning of togetherness.”
“I hope that all employees and partners of Chubb Life Indonesia can feel the warmth of Ramadan and make this month a momentum to strengthen gratitude and care for others,” he added.
The event was also enlivened by a religious talk delivered by Ustadz Ahmad Pranggono, Manager of Corps Dai Dompet Dhuafa (Cordofa).
After the artistic performances and religious talk, the activity concluded with sharing in the form of aid and distribution of Eid gifts to the children.
“In addition to this activity, we also appreciate Chubb Life Indonesia for the previous CSR and Financial Literacy activities held on 3 March 2026 for SME activists in Denpasar and surrounding areas. These various activities certainly provide many opportunities, spaces, and access for them to gain knowledge, provisions for the future, and express themselves,” Maya added.
Vibrant Financial Literacy for SMEs in Bali
The joy of the collaborative iftar between ID Humanity and Chubb Life Indonesia was also held in Bali on Tuesday (3/3). This collaboration involved enthusiastic SME actors receiving financial literacy training for Bali’s SMEs.
Chubb Life stated that financial literacy and inclusion are important for society, especially for SME actors, to equip them to make wiser financial decisions and manage cash flow between personal and business finances.
Likewise, risk management in life, including basic understanding of protection through insurance, is also important for SME actors.
The activity concluded with building togetherness and maintaining relations during the iftar moment.
