ICX 2026 Surabaya to Be Grand Stage for Specialty Coffee and Local SMEs

Entering the Grand City Convention Hall in Surabaya from 29 to 31 May 2026, the sounds of espresso machines, manual brews, and lively coffee enthusiast conversations will welcome thousands of visitors. The Indonesia Coffee Expo (ICX) 2026, the first-ever coffee industry exhibition, will feature 75 participants targeting Rp3 billion in transactions. Surabaya was chosen as the launch city for the national roadshow due to its rapidly developing coffee ecosystem. “Exceptional public enthusiasm for the creative industry. Through ICX, we aim to create a space where coffee culture meets modern lifestyles,” said Dyandra Promosindo Director Michael Bayu Sumarijanto. “We are confident the exhibition will not only offer new experiences for visitors but also drive economic growth for coffee industry entrepreneurs and other creative communities,” he added. Unlike typical coffee exhibitions, ICX 2026 will focus on specialty coffee and local SMEs, with around 70% of participants from East Java. Beyond showcasing coffee products, interactive activities such as coffee series discussions, Coffee Trail Challenge, Coffee Frame Challenge, and lucky draws with multi-million rupiah prizes will be available for visitors. The festival atmosphere is vibrant, with visitors coming not just to buy coffee but also to enjoy experiences, culture, and the growing community networks. Moreover, Indonesia’s coffee-drinking culture is rapidly evolving. Coffee is no longer just a wake-up drink but a key part of urban lifestyle identity. Visitors come not only to enjoy coffee brews but also to seek new experiences, connect with communities, and learn about the coffee journey from bean to cup. ICX 2026 will also feature an exciting collaboration with the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Surabaya 2026.
