ICO coffee exports up

LONDON (Reuter): International Coffee Organization (ICO) exports increased to 5.91 million 60-kg bags in February from 4.85 million in January and 5.24 million in February 1995, figures from the ICO showed.

In the 12 months to February 1996, exports by exporting members to all destinations were lower at 65.59 million bags from 69.05 million in the same 1994/95 period.

Indonesia's coffee exports, for example, increased to 169,000 bags in February 1996 from 105,000 bags in February 1995, but they decreased to 3.52 million bags in the March 1995-February 1996 period from 4.32 million bags in the March 1994-February 1995 period.
