ICEx Officially Launches, Aiming to Become Indonesia's Largest Crypto Exchange

JAKARTA. PT Fortuna Integritas Mandiri officially launched a cryptocurrency exchange named International Crypto Exchange (ICEx) on Thursday (2/4/2026) in Jakarta. The arrival of ICEx increases the number of crypto exchanges in Indonesia to two. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICEx, Kai Pang, stated that ICEx possesses an integrated crypto infrastructure ecosystem that combines exchange, clearing, and custodian functions within a single regulatory oversight framework. According to him, ICEx is pursuing a global vision through collaboration with Dunamu, one of the world’s largest crypto exchange companies from South Korea. “This collaboration is part of our efforts to promote the development of the national crypto industry while positioning Indonesia as a crypto hub in Southeast Asia,” said Kai Pang at the Grand Launching Press Conference for the Indonesia Crypto Exchange (ICEx) at The St. Regis, Jakarta, on Thursday (2/4/2026). Meanwhile, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ICEx, Rizky Indraprasto, stated that ICEx has a base capital of Rp 1 trillion sourced from shareholders, including investor groups and 11 exchange members. “Based on our expectations and business plans, we certainly aim to become the number one Crypto Clearing Exchange (BKK) in Indonesia. Number one in Indonesia based on market share,” said Rizky. Moving forward, ICEx will focus on developing various innovative products, including derivative instruments and tokenisation of real world assets (RWA). Additionally, the company is opening opportunities for collaboration with strategic partners, both domestic and international. As a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO), ICEx is also committed to enhancing literacy and public education regarding crypto assets.
