Jakarta, VIVA - The Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX), or the Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (BKDI), has released trading data for the first quarter of 2026, covering multilateral transactions and the Alternative Trading System.

In terms of total notional value, the first quarter recorded Rp12.477 trillion, a 96% growth compared to the notional value in the same period last year, which was only Rp6.360 trillion.

Meanwhile, in terms of transaction volume, from January to March 2026, the total transaction volume was recorded at 2.610.010 lots, an increase of 19% compared to the same period last year with a total transaction volume of 2.435.491 lots.

Of the total transactions in Q1 2026, multilateral transactions experienced a 13% growth in volume, from 408.076 lots in Q1 2025, while in the same period this year, the transaction volume reached 460.402 lots.

The notional value for multilateral transactions throughout Q1 2026 was recorded at Rp110.5 trillion, a 233% growth compared to the notional value in the same period last year, which was only Rp33.1 trillion.

For transactions in the Alternative Trading System, there was a 6% growth in transaction volume, from 2.027.415 lots throughout Q1 2025 to 2.149.608 lots in the same period this year.

The notional value for Alternative Trading System transactions throughout Q1 2026 was recorded at Rp12.366 trillion, a 95% growth compared to the notional value in the same period last year of Rp6.327 trillion.

Regarding transaction records, the total volume at ICDX was recorded at 10.334.487 lots with a notional value of Rp31.999 trillion throughout 2025. Of the total transactions, multilateral transactions were recorded at 2.350.664 lots with a notional value of Rp427.5 trillion.

Meanwhile, Alternative Trading System transactions were recorded at 7.983.823 lots with a notional value of Rp31.572 trillion.

ICDX Director Nursalam stated that as an exchange organising trading, it will continue to enhance services to all stakeholders, of course, in efforts to improve the performance of the commodity futures trading industry in Indonesia.

Looking at the transaction records throughout Q1 2026, he projects that the growth trend will continue until the end of the year. Nursalam is also optimistic that transactions will grow by around 20% by the end of 2026 compared to the previous year.
