ICBC Indonesia Expands Business in Central Java
PT Bank ICBC Indonesia (ICBC Indonesia) has officially opened its Semarang Branch as part of its expansion strategy and long-term commitment to supporting national economic growth, strengthening international trade, and bringing banking services closer to businesses in Central Java.
Located at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman No. 99, Semarang, the new branch reinforces ICBC Indonesia’s presence in one of the nation’s key economic growth centres. As the capital of Central Java Province, Semarang plays a strategic role as a hub for trade, industry, logistics and investment.
According to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Semarang’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached Rp288 trillion in 2025. The city’s growing export-import activity and increasing cross-border business ties make it an important driver of both regional and national economic growth.
