iCAR Opens Pre-orders for V27 SUV at GIIAS Bandung 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese car manufacturer iCAR has opened pre-order services for the V27 SUV, featuring Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, for consumers in West Java during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) Bandung 2026, held from 9 to 13 September.
Metta Yunita, Head of Marketing for iCAR Indonesia, stated in a company press release received in Jakarta on Thursday that West Java represents one of the key markets for iCAR in Indonesia.
“Through GIIAS Bandung, we want to move closer to consumers in West Java and provide them with the opportunity to get to know and experience iCAR products directly,” said Metta.
The iCAR V27 features Golden REEV technology, utilising a 1.5-litre turbocharged range extender engine that supports the electric drivetrain system.
This technology is paired with a 34.31 kWh capacity battery, enabling the vehicle to achieve a range of up to 200 kilometres in electric mode, based on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC) standards.
With the combination of electric and petrol power, according to Metta, the iCAR V27 can achieve a combined driving range of more than 1,200 kilometres.
According to the company, the car can produce a maximum power of 455 PS and a maximum torque of 505 Nm.
The V23 electric SUV, which features a retro-modern design, is available with battery options of up to 81.76 kWh and a range of up to 430 kilometres based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC).
The vehicle is available with both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options, alongside Intelligent Wheel Drive (iWD) technology.
