Ibis Slipi wins international award

Ibis Hotel in Slipi, West Jakarta, has been named Best Economy Hotel Asia Pacific by Travel Trade Gazette Asia, more popularly known as TTG Asia, in this year's reader survey.

The vice president of Accor Indonesia, Gerard Guillouet, said the Ibis Hotel in Slipi was the first Ibis Hotel in Asia.

He thanked readers of TTG Asia for voting for Ibis Slipi.

According to him, Ibis Slipi enjoys an occupancy rate of above 90 percent.

The Accor Group, which runs Ibis Hotel, was also named Best Global Hotel Chain for the second consecutive year.

Accor currently manages 34 hotels in Indonesia.
