In his statement, Ibas conveyed his sympathies. “Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. May Allah Almighty accept all the deeds and worship of the deceased, forgive all his shortcomings, and place him in the best place beside Him.”

He added: “I offer the deepest condolences on the passing of Vice President Try Sutrisno, a figure who not only served as a national leader but also set an example in upholding constitutional values.”

In all his service, the late Vice President consistently fought for the nation’s constitution in pursuit of justice and the prosperity of the people. “This dedication became an important foundation in the journey of our democracy and national life,” he said.

“As the next generation, we feel we have a moral responsibility to continue his thought and service,” he added.

He noted that what has been left behind is not merely history, but also direction and spirit to continue building Indonesia that is stronger, sovereign, and committed to the people’s welfare.

“May the values of this struggle continue to live and become an inspiration for us, the nation’s children,” he said.
