candidates in the House of Representatives (DPR) and City/Regency
Council (DPRD), voters will also pick candidates for the Regional
Representatives Council (DPD). The DPD elects members from 32
provinces and the 550 elected DPR members will set up the
People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). This article is the first
