IAEI Inaugurates 13 New Komisariats in the Jabodetabek Area, Ready to Strengthen the Islamic Economy
Jakarta - The Central Leadership Council of the Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam Indonesia (IAEI) officially inaugurated 13 komisariat administrations for the 2026-2031 period. The new administrations were sworn in during a National Seminar held at the Al-Quddus Auditorium, YARSI University, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. The inauguration ceremony was led by IAEI Secretary General Sutan Emir Hidayat, in front of delegates from the komisariat who attended in person and watched via a livestream on the Yarsi TV YouTube channel. He presided over the reading of the oath for all newly formed komisariat administrations. Before the oath, Mega Oktaviani, the Secretary for Organisation Development, Regional and Komisariat Development, conveyed the appointment decision for the komisariat administrations. All commissions inaugurated today were formed based on consensus among experts, academics, and observers of Islamic economics who actively pay attention to the development of Islamic economy within their respective institutions. This inauguration is part of an organisational revitalisation effort by IAEI, to encourage komisariats in the Jakarta area and its surroundings to be more active and contribute to the development of the Islamic economy at the level of their institutions. The presence of hundreds of new administrators from various universities is expected to become new energy that will drive the Islamic economy more massively in the years to come. The first komisariat to be read was IAEI Komisariat Universitas YARSI, with the supervisory board chaired by Nurul Huda and the management board chaired by Medan Wilestari. This komisariat has a total of 24 administrators. Next, IAEI Komisariat Perbanas Institute, with supervisory board chaired by Hermanto Siregar, and the management board led by Prameswara Samofa Nadya. This komisariat is among the larger ones with a total of 32 administrators. It was the turn of IAEI Komisariat IAI Sahid Bogor to be inaugurated, with the supervisory board chaired by Titien Yusnita, and the management board under the leadership of H. Rully Trihantana. Its total administrators reach 33. Subsequently, IAEI Komisariat UPN Veteran Jakarta was inaugurated with the supervisory board chaired by Jubaedah and the management board led by Ade Nur Rohim. This komisariat consists of 19 administrators. IAEI Komisariat Universitas Pamulang followed with the supervisory board led by Edian Fahmy, and the management board chaired by Nufzatutsaniah, with a total of 28 administrators. From the Cikarang area, IAEI Komisariat STEBI Global Mulia was also officially inaugurated. The supervisory board is chaired by Deni Lesmana, while the management board is led by Irwan Habibi Hasibuan, with a total of 32 administrators. IAEI Komisariat Universitas PTIQ Jakarta became the komisariat with the largest number of administrators in today’s inauguration, namely 48 people. The supervisory board is led by H. Nasaruddin Umar, while the management board is chaired by Patria Yunita. From Bogor, IAEI Komisariat Institut Nida El Adabi was also inaugurated, with the supervisory board chaired by Ramlan Rosyad, and the management board led by Luthfi Rantaprasaja. This komisariat has 14 administrators. IAEI Komisariat Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia appeared with the supervisory board chaired by Widodo Muktiyo, and the management board led by Luthfia Sevriana, with a total of 36 administrators. From Tangerang, IAEI Komisariat Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang was officially inaugurated. The supervisory board is chaired by Desri Arwen, with the management board under the leadership of Sutarmadi, and a total of 33 administrators. IAEI Komisariat Institut Agama Islam SEBI became one of the noteworthy with a total of 45 administrators. The supervisory board is led by Sigit Pramono, and the management board is led by Firmansyah. IAEI Komisariat Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Indonesia was inaugurated with the supervisory board chaired by Juri Ardiantara, and the management board under Abdul Qodir, with 23 administrators. Finally, IAEI Komisariat STIM Budi Bhakti was inaugurated with the supervisory board led by Aza El Munadiyan, and the management board chaired by Efrota Norman, with a total of 19 administrators. With the inauguration of these 13 new komisariats, IAEI now has hundreds of new administrators spread across various universities in Jakarta and its surroundings, ready to contribute to strengthening Indonesia’s Islamic economy ecosystem.
