Jakarta (ANTARA) - The I.League has officially announced the results of the stadium infrastructure assessments submitted by clubs participating in the 2026/27 Championship as part of the 202<0xC2>5/26 Club Licensing Cycle. This assessment is a vital part of ensuring arena readiness before Indonesia’s second-tier football competition commences next season.

I.League President Director Ferry Paulus stated that the assessments were conducted on stadiums proposed by clubs to serve as home venues for the 2026/27 season. The evaluation covers various infrastructural aspects required by the club licensing process to support the organisation of a safe, comfortable, and professional competition.

“The stadium assessment is part of the club licensing process aimed at ensuring that the infrastructure proposed by clubs meets the established standards. These results will serve as a basis for the planning of the 2026/27 competition,” said Ferry Paulus, as quoted from the I.League website on Monday (8/6).

Clubs that competed in the Super League last season, including Persis Solo, PSBS Biak, Semen Padang FC, PS Barito Putera, and PSIS Semarang, are among the participants that have submitted stadium proposals for the 2026/27 Championship. However, the I.League emphasised that these assessment results do not constitute a final decision regarding the stadiums to be used during the competition. The final designation of venues will still undergo further verification processes, operational inspections, and compliance with applicable competition regulations.

Furthermore, stadium status remains subject to change depending on renovation progress, infrastructural conditions, or additional requirements that clubs must fulfil before the competition begins.
