Hyundai Offers Certified Used Cars Alongside New Vehicles Through Subscription Service

Jakarta – Subscription-based vehicle services are increasingly becoming a popular alternative for consumers seeking to use cars without purchasing them outright.

In Indonesia, Hyundai Motors Indonesia offers such a service through its Hyundai Subscribe programme, which provides both new and pre-owned vehicles.

According to company officials, each vehicle admitted to the programme must undergo a comprehensive inspection process covering 100 quality checkpoints to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy and meets safety standards.

“We have a checklist that includes things like freedom from accident damage, flood damage, and various other factors. If a vehicle fails any of these 100 checkpoints, we will not sell it to Hyundai Promise,” said Wahyu at a press event in South Jakarta on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

Beyond vehicle condition, Hyundai has also established age and mileage restrictions for cars included in the programme. Typically, accepted vehicles are less than four years old.

“The vehicles that will be used in Hyundai Subscribe for pre-owned cars are units that meet Hyundai Promise criteria,” Wahyu added.
