Hyundai Ioniq 5 Subscription Programme Reported to Be Popular
JAKARTA — Consumer interest in subscription-based vehicle services is beginning to emerge in Indonesia, as evidenced by the number of customers taking up Hyundai Ioniq 5 through the Hyundai Subscribe programme.
The service allows consumers to use Hyundai vehicles through a monthly payment system without having to purchase them directly.
Wahyu Seto, Head of Hyundai Mobility Solutions at Hyundai Motors Indonesia, said that within a relatively short period, the number of customers for the model has already reached significant levels.
According to him, this figure demonstrates that subscription-based vehicle usage schemes are beginning to attract consumer interest in Indonesia, including for electric vehicles.
