Hybrid Vehicle Price Updates March 2026: Which is the Most Affordable?
Jakarta — As with several other vehicle segments, several brands marketing hybrid vehicles have revised their prices heading into March 2026 and the Lebaran holiday season.
Notably, in addition to price increases, several new variants have emerged at more affordable price points. Examples include the Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid G CVT and Alphard XE Hybrid.
Toyota officially launched both vehicles at the IIMS 2026 motor show as more affordable models within the Yaris Cross Hybrid and Alphard Hybrid families. Additionally, the Vios has now been transformed into a hybrid variant.
Furthermore, for those awaiting the official pricing of the Veloz Hybrid, the price range for each variant has now been released, starting from Rp 308 million to Rp 389 million. The cheapest version even received a discount down to Rp 304.5 million.
Following the announcement of Veloz Hybrid pricing, Toyota also raised prices for the Innova Zenix Hybrid across all variants.
Price increases have also been implemented by Suzuki for the Fronx and XL7 Hybrid, as well as Honda, which revised the Step WGN pricing, and Nissan Serena e-Power.
However, Chery also launched the C5 CSH as a complementary variant whilst positioning itself as a strong competitor to the Yaris Cross Hybrid G variant.
