KOTA KINABLU, Malaysia (AFP): American Robert Huxtable coasted to a six-stroke win in the US$150,000 Sabah Masters Sunday, able to laugh off a one-stroke penalty incurred when his caddie accidentally kicked his ball on the fairway.
Huxtable, six ahead at the start of the day, completed a wire- to-wire victory at Sutera Harbor Golf and Country Club after closing with a level-par 72 for a four-round total of 21-under- par 267.
Rookie professional Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand took second place after birdieing the last to finish a stroke ahead of Taiwan's Lin Wen-tang, India's Arjun Atwal and American Greg Hanrahan.
