Hutri Elected Unanimously to Lead Tegal Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Food industry entrepreneur Hutri Agus Mardiko has been elected unanimously as the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for Tegal Regency, Central Java, for the 2026-2031 period. Hutri was chosen during the Kadin Regency Deliberation (Mukab) held at the Gran Dian Hotel, Slawi, on Thursday (16/9).
The committee chairman and Chair of the Kadin Tegal Regency Mukab Plenary Session, Dadi Sumarsana, stated that the forum was attended by more than 88% of Kadin Tegal Regency members, with participants being dominated by young entrepreneurs.
“This Mukab is the fastest in the history of Kadin Tegal Regency’s leadership. Interestingly, Mr Hutri was elected by acclamation,” said Dadi on Thursday (17/9).
Hutri stated that the new administration will position Kadin as a strategic partner to the Tegal Regency Government and other stakeholders in driving the regional economy.
“I hope Kadin becomes a strategic partner to the Local Government and other stakeholders in advancing Tegal Regency, uniting to realise our shared goals for the welfare of the community,” said Hutri.
He introduced the vision “Kadin Tegal Regency United for an Advanced and Better Tegal Regency”. This vision is directed towards supporting the Tegal Regency Government’s programmes while strengthening the role of the business world in regional development.
Hutri also expressed his intention to make Kadin a platform for business actors to build collaboration, increase productivity, and develop social entrepreneurship. “The essence is to advance the regional economy,” he added.
Several agendas to be promoted include strengthening partnerships with the local government, developing social entrepreneurship, strengthening SMEs and micro-enterprises, and encouraging the people’s economy.
Furthermore, Kadin Tegal Regency will be directed towards building a partnership ecosystem to support food independence from upstream to downstream, increasing the regional economy, and encouraging the digitalisation of flagship products.
Hutri is known as an entrepreneur who has operated in the food sector for approximately 15 years. His businesses encompass fish meal processing, rice milling, marine and land fish processing, pasteurised milk, fertiliser, and the downstream oil and gas sector.
He also manages a cooperative that acts as an aggregator for agricultural, fishery, and livestock products in Tegal Regency. Products from his business group have been marketed to various regions across Indonesia.
Hutri noted that family support is one of the factors strengthening his resolve to carry out his mandate as Chairman of Kadin Tegal Regency. “The support from my wife and extended family makes me more confident in fulfilling this responsibility,” he concluded.
